This was FDR’s favorite tree. The tulip tree! They are blooming now so keep your eyes open. They are quite awesome.

The bark under them is from a butterfly bush. They have great bark but get crazy huge.
Tonight was just about perfect. I laid on my belly and enjoyed the smell of the grass and tiny flowers.
They have some pretty fantastic parks at this lake. We keep finding new ones that we love even more then the last. A pass is only $50 right now and that is a good price if you live in the area.
